Dear Editor,

My name is Mark Chatupa a youth pastor and a university graduate with a degree in computer science, i want to share this with you today because most of us struggle to choose the right way to live and the right partner to choose, God has graced me in alot areas of ministry and the lord has been using for his glory, a lot of people are prayed for within Zambia and abroad and the lord has been doing wonderful and great things in people’s lives with different status in society, and in ministry, reading books and interaction with a lot of people have to learn in two important areas were a lot of need help and by the grace of God I shall explain some of the things placed upon my life;
Relationships with God
The bible in the book of John 3vs16 says For God so loved the word that he gave his one and only Son, whoever believe in him shall not parish but have eternal life. And the bible says John 3vs3 in reply Jesus declared “I tell you truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless you are born again. Having a relationship with God starts with receive Jesus Christ us your person savior and starting walking in the path of the light.

Know who you are and what you are all about
Wherever you go, you take you with you, the devil fights you according to who are but not to what you think you are, he has an idea of who are and what God can do through you” job 1” in life as a person you need to know who are cause most of us we don’t know who we are, we just live with an idea of what we can do. Now how do you know who you are? Jeremiah 1vs5 the bible says before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. From the scripture it shows that its God who knows who are and what you are all about, so you need to put an extra effort to know who are by getting to know God through have fellowship and a relationship with God though studying the word and in prayer (Joshua 1vs6-11) being great in life is about the relationship and the fellowship you with God and being successfully in life is about moving in the will of God and fulfilling God’s given purpose.
To know who you are and what you stand for, to be aware of how you are perceived by others and how you present yourself to the world is one of the important aspects of a well-lived life.

Identify what matters most
Your behavior in your public and private moments acts as your life’s billboard, your personal brand. When you are around people, what do they see you in you? Are you are person of great impact or great needs. The greatest impact you make in someone life is to preach to them about Jesus and help them realize their purpose in life. In life important to know what happens most for you to be successful and as a Christian what matter most is having fellowship with God and moving in his will.
Prepare yourself for challenges
Christianity is about a bout fighting, if you think it’s all about blessings then you are lost, Mathew 11v12 says from the days of john the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and violence man shall take it by force. As Christian we need to fight a good fight of faith, faith is a spiritual product that come from hearing the word of God, its important us Christian to spend time in the word of God. For you to fight you need to use the word of God 1 Samuel 17 and Ephesians 6vs10-18
Knowing people in your life
The level of maturity determines the people you attract, maturity is the ability to understand the will of God upon you life and will of God by refusing your own will to be done, and you tell how mature someone is based on how they react to situations/challenges. Sometimes there is a vast different from who we project to be and who we are really are. Amos 3vs3 the says do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so and 1 Corinthians 15vs33 says do not be mislead bad company corrupts good character. The people we keep around us affects the kind of person we are, mind the company you keep because it either they shall build you or destroy you, if a person doesn’t help you get to know God, distance yourself from them because they shall help you go to HELL.

You are the leader of your life
Leaders draw attention to themselves in the things they say and do because they intend to think and act differently. The problem have found with a lot of people is letting go, we need to let go of pass failure mistakes disappoints and people we have lost and that have brought pain to our lives. 1 john 2vs19
Choosing your life partner
Genesis 2vs 18 The LORD God said “it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper to suitable him. Choosing a right partner starts with you having a relationship with God and praying that God should help you be with the partner because the person we decide to be with has a major role to play in our life and our future. So don’t just choose because your friends have told you, you are lonely, how old you age and marriage is not just about Sex and having kids but marriage is about God fulfilling a purpose in your lives. God made marriage to a sol
ution not a problem, it’s became a problem when you
decided to be with a wrong person. Like uncle always told me to pray
before you find someone to be with.
The R&D before the relationship

Every relationship to be a success should start with having a strong foundation based on Godly principles, strong happy relationship are those were both partners have a strong relationship and fellowship with God, many of us mindlessly enter into something as important as a relationship with little thought to the fundamental requirements we need to be happy. Entering into a relationship without securing important data about the other person is like driving down the road wearing a blindfold-self imposed sightlessness. Blindness leaves us very vulnerable, yet people every day getting married to people whom they little real knowledge. You can only know the detailed information if you are the person who is seeking God in truth and in spirit about your partner.
The confidence factor
A man looks to marry a woman who loves him not a woman, who loves the idea of getting married. Many people get married to share expenses or raise children, but when financial situations change, and children grow up and leave home, there is nothing keeping the pair together. When you are considering entering into a lifelong commitment like marriage, you have to decide if you want to be with person in holistic terms or settle for someone simply to satisfy only part of your needs. Sometime we get focused on the other person and what they need that we give little consideration to what they offer us. Love is about the other person and what you can contribute to their life. We are each created in God’s complete and divine image, be confident in that fact. There is a misconception that marriage is fifty-fifty, in fact marriage is a one hundred-one hundred deal. It demands both parties to bring on hundred percent of who they are and what they can offer to the relationship. It is complement, not completement the result in a successful marriage. We should work to enhance each other’s strengths, not compensate for someone else’s weakness.

Wife Catches Hubby Marrying Another Woman

A polygamous Bulawayo man ran out luck recently when his wife caught him trying to marry another woman at an Apostolic Masowe Church service. The woman was shocked as the madzibaba-cum-marriage-officer failed to use his supposed divine powers to ascertain that Life Magwenzi, a panel beater by profession, was already married with children.

This came to light at the Maintenance Court yesterday where Phoebie Masarirambi was claiming $602 from Magwenzi for her upkeep and that of her minor child.

“This man is a bed hopper and he has guts to tell the courts that he has been supporting us. At one time I caught him trying to marry another woman Emasowe and his trusted faith healers failed to detect he was already married. They almost officiated at the marriage. He has never even bought me underwear and disappears from home only to reappear after days. I cannot take this anymore,” said Masarirambi, shedding tears.

Magwenzi was quick to interject and accused his wife of denying him conjugal rights.
“The reason I am never at home is that this woman refuses to have sex with me all the time.  It has been three years since we shared a bed and her excuse is always that I am promiscuous. I cannot accept that you honour,” he said.

He added, “I am self-employed and there is no guarantee that I will raise the $602 she is claiming,” he said.
Masarirambi said that she was not having sex with her husband because she scared of contracting diseases since Magwenzi was “promiscuous.”

“Your worship there is no way I can sleep with a bed hopper. I just need him to take care of us as he now stays with his girlfriends.”
Magistrate Mpofu ordered Magwenzi to pay $300 for the upkeep of his wife and one minor child with effect from end of January.

Court Acquits Ndola Woman On Charges of Assaulting Lover’s Wife

By NANCY SIAME
A woman of Ndola accused of biting her lover’s wife has been acquitted after the prosecution failed to prove the case.
Twenty-one-year-old Peggy Kaulu of Pamodzi Overspill was acquitted by magistrate Ben Akende for allegedly assaulting Bibian Lufani, 19, of Pamodzi Township.
“The accused’s defence was not disrupted by the prosecution and it was not shown by the prosecution that excessive force was used,” Mr Akende said.
Particulars of the offence are that Kaulu, on September 12 last year, assaulted Lufani thus occasioning her actual bodily harm.
During trial, Lufani told the court that on the material day, she went to her husband’s house in Nkwazi to collect items for their child.
Lufani said when she arrived at her husband’s home, she found Kaulu and her friend in the house who told her that she was the new wife.
“I asked them what they were doing in my house and the two women attacked me and pushed me outside,” Lufani said.
She said Kaulu bit her on the left side of her breast causing her to sustain injuries and she reported the matter to the police.
In defence, Kaulu said she acted out of self-defence because Lufani poured hot water on her.
Kaulu said Lufani has a tendency of going to her house to insult her.
“I did not intend to bite her, she was fighting me and I was just trying to defend myself,” Kaulu said.
Passing judgment, Mr Akende said the accused had the right to eject the complainant because she was in charge of the house then.
He said the accused had the right to defend herself as she was attacked by the complainant.
“The defence that she did not intend to bite the complainant is accepted by the court and I find her not guilty and acquit her accordingly,” he said.

G SOUNDS Promotions is this month expected to release Alubusu’ Mokomoko CD, over a year after the singer’s death.
Alubusu – born Albert Silwimba recorded the nine-track album and another gospel project called Nisuke Yesu before his tragic death in a car accident in November 2012.
G Sounds director Peter Kambole says his company is interested in seeing Alubusu’s memory and music kept alive.
He told the Weekend Post that G Sounds also decided to adopt the gospel collection produced by Trick Star in order to market the albums before a double launch scheduled later this year.
Kambole said Alubusu, best known for his hit Bwela Panyumba, was one of the few singers that took contemporary Zambian music to another level.
He added that proceeds from the albums would go to the late singer’s family which had given G Sounds the exclusive rights to market the two projects.
He also implored corporate institutions to sponsor the double album launch set for after the rainy season this year.
Kambole believes corporate entities with good social responsibility programmes have a role to play in improving the quality of Zambian music.
Among songs on Mokomoko are Chikondi Chaneo ft Tsouya, Mabonzo, Muzako wazoona and Takuya babwela. Alubusu, 38 died in an accident on the Mongu-Kalabo Road in November 2012.

Prophet Makandiwa Performs Manhood Enlargement Miracle

MakandiwaProphet Emmanuel Makandiwa, leader United Family InternationalChurch (UFIC) has a reputation of performing astounding miracles, but none of them is in the realm of the one witnessed a few minutes into the New Year by an estimated 50 000 congregants in Chitungwiza.

Prophet Makandiwa, who insists that he is just a tool used by the Holy Spirit, has made the lame walk, changed the status of peopleliving with HIV through prayer as well as helped hundreds of couples conceive, his church claims.

As a result of the miracles, UFIC prides itself as the church of miracles and one would expect congregants to be used to the “wonders” that characterise all their services.

However, awe was written on all faces a few minutes into 2014 when Prophet Makandiwa broke new ground by performing a miracle that saw a congregant who had travelled from Namibia having his reproductive organ grow.

It was a male organ enlargement miracle! The man took advantage of a fired-up Prophet Makandiwa’s call for people with critical conditions to come forward and get delivered.

“This anointing is too much . . .  I want people with critical conditions,” said the UFIC leader.

And within seconds a pastor in the church said, “Man of God, this man here says he wants to marry, but he does not have the confidence to do so because his male organ is small . . . he says it’s the size of a two-year-old’s.”

Interpreter Pastor Prime Kufa’s bid to translate what had just been said into Shona was cut short by Prophet Makandiwa.

“It’s okay. There is no need to translate. Vazvinzwa,” said Prophet Makandiwa before turning to the man who was seeking divine intervention.

“Do you believe Jesus is able?” he asked.

“Yes, I believe,” answered the man.

A stretch of the hand by Prophet Makandiwa saw the man tumbling to the ground.

“First month grow, second month grow, third month grow, fourth month grow, fifth month . . . mmmm, stop,” said the UFIC leader amid wild shouts from the packed church.

Apart from the male organ enlargement issue, the other “critical” issues that the youthful prophet prayed for include “casting out the HIV demon” and overdue pregnancies.

Away from the miracles, Prophet Makandiwa drew from 2 Chronicles chapter 20 verses 15 to 17 and preached on how all battles are God’s before disclosing that his church’s theme for this year is “Divine Solutions (for impact).”

The crossover service ended with a Holy Communion and the UFIC leader warning against the effects of sin.

“Don’t allow sin of any nature to take away the blessing that is upon you after drinking the blood of Jesus. Sin qualifies you to take the blood of Jesus, but I urge you to run away from sin though it may follow you.

“How can you go to a girlfriend’s house after taking this blood of Jesus? Surely you will die. As anointed as I am, I run away from sin.

“What about you? It’s because I know the power of sin. Sin brings you down. Just stay away from sins,” he said.

Marriages And Kitchen Parties In Zambia

Dear Editor,

Allow me some space to air my views concerning the ever increasing and mushrooming levels of marital problems including divorce in our country. The rate of divorce seems to be on the increase in our generation at an alarming rate. Divorce has become part of our culture, values and norms. Divorce like death was not so common in the olden days. When it happened communities were shaken. Many questions were asked.

Why? What? How? Is it true? Who? Where? All these were questions that showed how startled people took the news. It clearly indicated that it was not a usual thing. Our parents and dear grandparents surely had their own huddles in their marriages, but the institution of marriage was respected. Indeed we cannot dispute that divorce existed then, but not as it appears and comes today.

The colors and its shape have taken worrying twist. Events that lead to divorce sometimes do not even warrant such actions. It is like somebody who has a temporal problem and decides to take his or life. Truly solutions should be sought in totality before one takes such a drastic solution. Divorce can be likened to suicide in many ways. Though trying to compare these two is like pouring a hot cup of water in the river and expect the waters to get hot.

Just like in business, people should expect changes in the market, expect competition, expect economic changes and above all realize that the world can be affected by weather, and other natural disasters. But a good manager will be seen as these changes unfold. Solutions that address the changes would be sought. Solutions that mitigate the effects would be explored.

Focusing on the future and well being of the business would be motivation factor not the present or prevailing adverse effects. Intuitive, innovativeness, rational thinking and simulation are avenues that focused managers would explore in seeking answers to different situations. What makes a difference in business is how managers behave when situations change and how they react to the unforeseen or unplanned situations. Being practical, reactive and proactive determines how firm one remains.

Back to my title “Marriages and Kitchen Parties in Zambia”, the above discussion offers insights on how certain issues could be addressed in marriage set up, just like in business. But what is the relationship between marriage and kitchen parties? What is introduced in a marriage? What are the cost implications and economic values that come with a kitchen part into a marriage?

What values, culture, norms are introduced to newlywed couples? Do the items got during a kitchen part add value to the union or not? Who owns what is amassed from the kitchen part? Should it still remain to be called a kitchen party or a chicken party or may be another name should be sought? What is the main importance of a kitchen part? Do people give genuinely at kitchen parties? In my articles to come, many more and such questions would be discussed.

Merits and demerits would be objectively looked at, analyzed and other issues propounded. Being the first article in the series, I will ask a simple question. Which spoon is better to use, the one given at a kitchen party or the one both partners decide to buy willingly as a couple? Let me get your comments as we embark on this journey to seek solutions to humanity problems and instability in our homes and seek solutions for many generations to come.

Our Lightening Creams and The Government

$

By Malama Monde

So some lightening creams have gone “missing” from the University Teaching Hospital (UTH). when I first heard this I laughed so damn hard. It doesn’t even make sense as to why the government feel they need to destroy lightening creams. Its our hard earned money that buys these products and how much do they make from duty? They must be making a killing from these Former Black Individuals(FBIs)cause they are on the rise. They taking over:)

If I decide to bleach my skin, please let me be. Ones bleaching doesn’t take away their ability to think and strive for what’s important in life. I think the govts determination to expunge these products off the Zambian market is a waste of resources. Now those products have been stolen and guess what?! They back on the streets and what’s even more funny is the thieves don’t have to pay duty or order them from Mr Patel’s shop in kamwala*laughs at the govt*

You know, you’d think the govt has bigger issues to deal with like lowering taxes, finding a cheaper fuel source, reducing illiteracy, going green, fighting corruption, making Zambia a much more affordable country for it’s people etc…The wo/men who lighten their skin know the consequences, they know it could lead to cancer. Skin lightening producers are in a multi-billion dollar industry. In 2012 sales of skin lightening creams in India alone totalled 258 tons and the global market for skin lighteners is projected to reach US $19.8 billion by 2018 based on sales growth primarily in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. This is not something they(our govt)can stop but control by banning products with hydroquinone (Hydroquinone is a strong inhibitor of melanin production, meaning that it prevents dark skin from making the substance responsible for skin colour).

The purchasing of these products and usage is a CHOICE and the people who use them have different reasons. Some use them to even their skin, others brightening and for some it’s society and world over that’s made them believe that the brighter your skin the more beautiful you are. If our very own black mixed race(coloureds)can use these products what would stop one of darker skin?

My final say is this is bigger than what the govt thinks it is. Skin lightening is more than just a choice its a sense of belonging and acceptance in society by the shade of ones skin tone.

PS: Some lightening methods(pills and injections) may cause long term effects like infertility. You must be careful and ensure you do research. Google the ingredients on the creams and see what they really do. Oh and if you bleach make sure you drink lots of water.

Don’t forget your umbrellas….lol

This artice does not represent the views of Tumfweko but the views of the author. Read the authors bog here http://malamaa.wordpress.com/2014/01/21/bleach-and-the-government/

way to a) tell her you love her for the first time.

5. Words can be everything.

Obviously, I learned this one the hard way. Men can be careless with what they say, or surprised when women take an off-the-cuff comment to heart. Examples: “I have nothing to wear” is not her asking you to step into her closet point out options. “Do I look fat?” only has one answer.

6. Listening, not fixing, is often the best remedy to her problem.

As you probably know, men tend to be too quick to try to fix problems their significant others are telling them about. Instead of trying to cut the conversation short by jumping directly to a solution, it’s helpful to ask our significant other what type of response she is looking for.

7. You are worthy of respect. But don’t demand it.

Something inherent in all men is the desire for respect. If you are dating a women who does not respect you, it is probably time to get out before you become a doormat. But as men, we should never demand respect, because that is the fastest way to show that you are not worthy of it.

A Raydo production, the song has already premiered on Channel O and Trace Music channel.
The video was shot in Lusaka and features Natalie, the daughter of veteran singer Jane Osborne.
In the song, JK promises to love a girl in the same way men in the Telemundo dramas love their women.

DANCEHALL artiste Tyce (Mike Zulu), known for his Kazizi ni Kazizi song, says he is happy to have been signed under Slapdees X.Y.Z Entertainment Limited and says he will soon release his debut album.
The Mtendere-based artiste was recently unveiled as the newest member of the now growing XYZ Entertainment family at a press conference in Lusaka.
The dreadlocked K-Amy artiste told the Weekend Mail that he has no regrets about the decision he made.
“I am really happy to be part of the XYZ family. Perhaps many people are getting it wrong though. The deal is actually a partnership between XYZ Entertainment and K-Amy, the studio I am signed to,” he said.
“The only difference however, is that K-Amy is just a record label and the studio where I am recording songs from, whereas XYZ is now my management team. It is in charge of managing my corporate image, publicity and taking care of things such as promotion of my music, distribution to radio stations, bookings and also arranging media interviews and the likes,” he said.
The artiste also disclosed that works on his debut album have reached an advanced stage.
“The other day, the guys were at the studio to get my songs so that we can sit down, listen to them all and select which ones to be included on the album. At the moment, I can’t tell how many songs will be on it, but all I can say is that I have recorded a lot of songs,” he said.
Despite the overwhelming response his song Kazizi ni Kazizi is receiving, Tyce has struggled to nail a place on the Zambian music scene.
The other songs Tyce has done include I’d rather be alone, Spare Part, Tebufi which features Hamoba, as well as Kazizi ni Kazizi, the remix which features JK, Slap D, Petersen and Jae Cash.

My Boyfriend Put A Seed In Me: What Do I Tell My Husband?

Dear

woman preg I just need the truth on my situation before I make a mistake. I was dating a guy before I met the man who proposed to me and we got married very recently. Although he slépt with me a few times in the course of our four months dating, I never told my boyfriend about him since he is living very far from my area, and he was also “having” me any time I visited his house.

Now there is a problem, I wish it never happened. I went to boyfriend’s house to tell him about my marriage, he just grabbed me before I could even tell him my mission and we “did it” again. I lost control…

This was just two weeks to my wedding. On the morning of my wedding I started feeling funny and two weeks after our wedding I found out I’m pregnant. My husband did’t sleep with me for like three weeks before our wedding because of the pressure of preparations and all that.

I know the pregnancy is for my boyfriend but I can still give it to my husband since the difference will not be a big one that will make him suspect me. My boyfriend knows that am married now but he didnt know he has put a seed inside me. He is not even comfortable enough to take care of a baby now.

No one should ask me to tell my husband the truth, I can’t! Please what are the other options for me?

- A sister in stress.

Dear Readers: I think I Have Been Molested By A Doctor

Dear readers,

For two days now,I’ve been feeling angry and abused, so I’m sharing  my experience with your readers for their opinions.

Two days ago I went to a  hospital close to my house to check for breast lumps. It was my first time and I was very uncomfortable when the doctor started touching my breasts. I decided to close my eyes and put my mind on other things.

But then, when I felt he was taking longer time than I anticipated, I opened my eyes only to discover he had an erection! All the while he’s been fondling my breasts! I felt so embarrassed. He didn’t say a word as I dressed up and left his office.

I still feel angry and raped. That’s sexual molestation, right? Shouldn’t I have confronted him right there and then?

‘He Treats Me Like a Sex Object’

$

By MUNIDE ZULU
IT IS odd for a housewife to be treated like a girlfriend but this is what happened to a woman of Chipata Township whose husband treated her like a sex object for 11 years.
Judith Banda, 49, said she is tired of being in a marriage where her husband of 35 years, Sekelani Banda is only interested in having sex with her without even looking into her plight.
Judith, who has been on separation with Banda for 11 years, complained to Justices Dennis Mpundu, Peggy Nyambe and Morgan Kayanika that Banda moved out of their matrimonial home from the time he married his second wife.
“It is so shocking and very hurting that he only comes to my home to have sex with me since the time he married his second wife. He treats me like I am his girlfriend,” she said in a case in which she was sued Banda for divorce.
Judith further said all was well when they got married but problems started when Banda went to Samfya in search of medicine to cure her swollen legs.
Surprisingly, Banda did not touch her, make signs or even talk about having sex with her when he came back from Samfya, she said.
“I expected him to have the desire to have sex with me because as you know your honor, he was away for two days, so, it is normal that people miss each other,” she said.
She said after two days of Banda’s strange behaviuor, he shockingly told her about his intention to marry another woman he met in Samfya.
Judith said Banda told her that he wanted to marry another woman because she denied him sex.
“He also told the church that he wanted to divorce me because I refusedto have sex with him. And when the church asked him how we had managed to have four children if I refused having sex with him, he said he always had to force himself on me,” she said.
She also said Banda has not been caring for her and their children even when they are sick.
But Banda, in his earlier statement, said all was well in their marriage but problems started when Judith started denying him sex.
“We were both working as she was a businesswoman and I was a driver. When I wanted to have sex with her, she used to refuse, saying she was tired. I could not understand her. We stayed for three years without having sex,” he said.
He further said he wants divorce so that she can be a free person.
“I have married another woman and I also want her to be free so that she can get married as well,” he said.

Dear Editor,

Please hide my identity. I would like to appear to your online publication to kindly publish my complaints concerning the high levels of casual sex and promotions of female employees by our Branch Manager a Mr. David Ngenda. This man has been sleeping with the female employees in exchange for promotions.1.

Fisrtly, he started having sex with Brenda Phiri by the a plumber with a craft certificate in plumbing and metal sheeting, she was promoted to the position of Billing and Revenue Officer and currently acting Credit Controller after quencing our manager’s sexual desire, this is a degree holder position. She is married to Mr. Hampango Starfred the young brother to Mr. Hampango the owner of Marvin Motors based here in Kafue. This relationship has ruined this woman’s home as she no longer respect her husband who is a truck driver and spends most of the time away from home.

2. Secondly, he also fell in love with Ms. Susan Sikazwe a customer service assistant by then, she is now promoted as a Customer Service Officer for the branch after becoming pregnant for the same maanger but she went and aborted the pregnancy at 4 months.

This is another degree holder position but she has a mere certificate. She is married and live at Chilanga booster station, the husband is a businessman who is not doing well.3. Thirdly, this time around he has impregnant Ms. Winne Zulu, a cashier with a certificate in marketing, because of the pregnancy she has been promoted to the position of acting Finance and Administration officer with any clue or qualification in accounts.

4. Fourly, our acting Senior Engineer, Mr. Wilford Sankalimba has also taken advantage of this wicked man ideas who prentends to be a christian and he has also started sleeping with the same women, just last week he was found having sex in the office with madam Winnie, now we are wondering who the owner of the pregnancy is.
Help us to expose these wicked men because we feel this the only way the they might stop misbehaving at work as well as saving people’s marriages. Ms. Brenda Phiri’s marriage is beyond redemption because of the promotion and the services is has been giving to her manager.

Tips When Buying Shoes

• Don’t buy shoes that feel too tight and expect them to stretch to fit.

• Never allow a “breaking in” period. Shoes should be comfortable when you first wear them.

• You should be able to move your toes freely in any shoes you’re planning to buy. Shoes that constrict or pinch your toes will make you miserable fast, and can lead to painful and more serious problems down the road.
