Local Hip Hop rapper Slap D aka Mwila Musonda seems to have rubbed his fans the wrong way. Following his response to a fan who shared his opinion referring to his recently released freestyle via twitter. The fan tweeted…

“Listening to Slapdee’s new freestyle. To be honest the neat is ait, but the bars are below average. I’m a fan and i think he can better than that. Unless i missed that one punchline that connects everything?” @Mic Diggy

Slap D (@slapdee) through his verified twitter account later responded to the fan saying “Fuq outta here with your reviews. Ur opinion doesn’t count over here”

Other fans did not hesitate to show their displeasure at the award winning rappers response to a fan, quickly responding to the tweet condemning the rappers response, with a few seeing nothing wrong with this response.

“Slap D’s response to that fan’s tweet has really put me off. Takwaba Miya so” @Kuqa_

“Slap D did nothing wrong. Humble rappers don’t exist. His reaction was the reaction of a rapper” @Ngwete

“I honestly don’t understand how some Zambian artists like SlapDee expect full on fan support when they can’t even handle humble criticism. You’re the same artists who speak of having haters through out your hustle and learning to use the hate as a push factor to reach out goals” @DetroitsKiixe98

“Someone should Slap the D off the rappers with egos the size of their heads. I suggest LJ Mojo”

“And they want us to buy their music and vote for them chum awards? Fuq outta here!! ” @Wika_ThatGurl

“Slap D aint sh*t to be honest. Don’t even @me ” @Nammy_’

The rapper was noted to have quickly deleted the response/ tweet though that did not stop social media from quickly taking a screen shot of the conversation and quickly sharing it.

Was there anything wrong with Slapdee’s response to his fans criticism? Let us know in the comments.

Zambian Gay Couple Releases More Pictures Following Social Media Debate

“Kachana and Grace dare Police by confirming their lesbian relationship”

A young gay couple that flaunts the relationship on social media releases more picture after their affair took over social media.

By the way gay couple means and refers to a same sex relationship(men are queer, female are lesbians) and doesn’t connote only make-to-male relationship.

Kachana and Grace Tembo have lit social media with their open gay relationship.
Kachana deleted her Facebook and Instagram accounts while Grace has kept hers even releasing more pictures.

Probably it’s a dare to the Police, maybe powerful forces could be behind to use this case as a test case when they arrested.

In Zambia gay couples hide in shadows or keep their sexual orientation in closets.
Many keep “healthy partners” while hiding their same sex partners as “friends”.

But the lesbian duo appear to break religious, traditional and cultural barriers to openly flaunt their gay relationship and can be met at shopping malls and show off their love on social media.

Pilato Acting & Merely Seeking Attention

The claims by Fumba Chama, popularly known as Pilato that he fled the country because of the threats he and his family have received from the Patriotic Front government and its party wings; cadres and senior party members, is not just stupid but a sheer act and a stunt to draw public attention.

If one is to apply serious logic, that’s aside from political bias or political sympathy that seems to cloud many people’s analysis, the following will be drawn out and concluded-

1. That Pilato has no personal following, that’s apart from the usual people that like his disrespectful songs sang desparaging the President and his PF party, from Bufi, Alungu Anabwera, Bashi Tasila, Abanenu and the latest Koswe.

If any argue that he is not a nonentity musically then let them tell us how many hit songs Pilato has that have drawn the country’s musical air waves or mention the awards he has won among the many we have; Ngoma, ZMA, Born n Bred or Kwacha, nothing apart from appearing as featured artist when Chef and Afunika won the best collaboration award for their hit song song Kumwesu, and escorting Kopala Swag members, Hip Hop King Macky2, Chef, Afunika and Muzo Alphanso, an entrant who won an award ahead of him to collect their awards.

I hope that quashes the misconception that Pilato is something big or influential enough to be hunted down for a song that doesn’t give logical reason to change party allegiance, if he was then it would have shown musically as that is his career but alas the people seemingly backing him can only go as far his rhetorical political songs but can not vote for his music to win an award- the wish and pinnacle of every musician.

It would have made sense if it was a musician of Petersen Zagaze who would be pursued as his political song are not derogative but carry with them Intelligent messages that upon listening would give you reason to change party allegiance; Job 13:13, Letter to the president or Zaga for President, songs with lasting lyrical content.

2. He as produced derogative songs before and no one has hunted him down save for when he had to appear before court for defaming the president in his Alungu Anabwera song, what has changed now that he would be sought, of what difference is the Koswe song? Same subject in his songs and it’s President Lungu.

3. His song was released two months ago, that should have been the time when he would have been hunted down and not now when people have overheard it and it’s less appealing to the eye.

Finally, the president and his government have machinery at their disposal to hunt Pilato down and catch him in a snip, I mean he is not that elusive to run away from both state and party intelligence officers. The fact that he managed to cross boarders is an attest that he is not being sought after but is putting an act all to seek public attention which in my view is irrelevant as no PF member will ditch the party on the pretext that an individual like him is being threatened for disrespecting their sitting head of state, it leaves everything as the status quo; PF members being PF members, NDC members sympathizing with him and UPND ones supporting him while none gains political mileage off his act. I suspect he is trying to draw attention away from NDC’s growing popularity since UPND has nothing new to draw it especially after the attention drawing arrest of Hakainde Hichilema that has ebbed months after his release.

Let him be truthful and just come back home and be with his family. Facebook threats are just sheer chatter and nothing to take seriously, we are threatened to but you can not treat every caderic threat seriously.

43 Year Old Marriage Collapses Over Sex

THERE was laughter in a Local Court in Lusaka when a man said that he cannot sleep in the same bed with a woman without making love to her.

He however complained that when he touched his wife she always moved away and that was the reason he had been away from the matrimonial home.

Alick Kambizyi, 61, a farmer of John Laing compound was testifying in a case in which his wife, Mary Cheelo, 58, sued him for divorce alleging that he moved out of matrimonial home and married another woman.

The two got married in 1975 and have nine children.

Cheelo told Senior Court Magistrates Abbyshine Michelo and Esther Mulomba at Kanyama Local Court that she sued Kambizyi because he left the matrimonial home in 2009 and married another woman.

She explained that problems started when Kambizyi married another woman in 2009 and that in 2017 he married a third woman. Cheelo added that Kambizyi doesn’t see her as a woman and that he takes care of the other two wives.

‘’Kambizyi stays in Garden House and just comes on the fifth of every month to collect rentals and leaves K50 or K100 on the table,’’ said Cheelo.

In defence, Kambizyi said that problems started in 2012 when his job contract was terminated and that in 2014 he decided that they start farming but Cheelo refused.

Kambizyi admitted marrying a second wife in 2012 and that in 2016 she told him when they were sleeping that there would be no sex because the other wife was sick.

‘’Since 2016 we haven’t been making love, I can’t manage to sleep with a woman in the same blanket without making love to her it was the reason I have been away because when I touch her she moves away I fear I can assault her,’’ said Kambizyi.

Kambizyi said that he married another woman in 2017 to relieve himself because the second wife was sick.

The court said that it was troubled because Kambizyi and Cheelo were elderly people who should be teaching children especially that they had been married for 43 years.

The court further noted that the other woman was sick and that was the reason Cheelo feared to make love with Kambizyi.

The court granted the couple divorce without compensation but ordered Cheelo to remain in the house and should be collecting rentals for her livelihood.

Husbands And Wives , Stop Wasting Your Time Praying

Benson and his wife don’t sit next to each other during Church services.

Even when going to Church services, they go in different vehicles; and when they travel in the same car, it is usually a very quiet and uncomfortable ride.

Benson sat at his usual spot in the Church service; the fourth line on the far left row. His wife sat on the center row.

The Pastor took to the podium.

*”Husbands, stop wasting your time praying”* the Pastor began.

The congregants got alarmed. No one expects to hear a pastor saying prayer is a waste of time.

I am not here to discourage you to pray, but to encourage you to pray right.

Husbands, stop wasting your time praying if you are not treating your wives well.

You come to church driving your expensive cars, giving your offerings and tithes, active in Church, some of you are Church leaders; but how are you treating your wife?

You may look good to us Church members, but it is your wife and children that know who you truly are” said the Pastor.

Benson turned to face his wife. She looked at him. Benson could see her eyes.

Her left eye swollen from the blow he gave her last week when she confronted him about his alcoholism, pornography use and mischievous behavior.

People couldn’t tell she had a black eye because of the make up she had on, so well done.

The Pastor continued, “People have perfected the art of cover up. Here in Church, so many are hurting but you wouldn’t know.

People come here wearing their nice clothes, shiny smiles, they are active in ministry but hurting a lot in their marriage.

“We have become numb and plastic, brushing things under the carpet. But today we shall heal; and shall address those wounds we hide.”

The Pastor cleared his throat and continued, “Many of those who are hurting their spouses are using the church to hide.

They think that because they give offering s and tithes, because they make public prayers, because they read the Word or because they hold a Church leadership position that they are right with God. God is also interested in what you do in your marriage and in your family.

The Word says that when you treat your wife badly, it hinders your prayers. Men, you claim to be prayerful?

Hear this, “Your first ministry is your home. Stop trying to blackmail God with your service in Church yet you are mean and hurtful towards your spouse.”

Many of the members of the congregation got restless and unsettled.

The Pastor continued, “Many of those who are being hurt by their spouse hide their pain and want to project an image that all is well to validate that they are blessed and in control.

Some of you are active in Church to run away from the pain in your marriages”.

The congregation was silent. Some straightening their ties, others fidgeting with their Bibles, adjusting their sitting position.

This pastor was preaching truth and it was uncomfortable.

The Pastor continued, “The husbands are not the only ones guilty here… Wives, don’t you know the Bible says when your husband found you he found good virtuous woman and you brought favour?

Then why are you the source of your husband’s headache and stress? Have you been so toxic that you have turned your prayerful husband into a prayer-less one?

Do you make him regret marrying you because you bring more complications than he had before marrying you?

How you treat your husband can be a stumbling block in his walk with God or an environment that encourages growth.

Many of you wives married your individual husbands primarily because of their relationship with God, so why are you now destroying their relationship with God instead of celebrating and nurturing it?

Why are you being a burden to your husband emotionally, spiritually, socially, sexually and financially instead of being one who brings favour?”

Benson’s wife looked at her husband. Benson looked at her, and she looked away.

The Pastor paused to drink his glass of water.

And he continued, “When I am thirsty, I drink a glass of water.

When your spouse gets thirsty, will you allow God to use you to bless your spouse?

You’ve been told many sermons that focus on you as an individual, that God will make you prosper as an individual.

I am here to tell you your blessings are tied to people, you are blessed to be a blessing to others. Our God is not an individualistic God.

Your blessing is tied to your marriage, your family. It’s not about you; it is about Jesus and Jesus is about love.

What good is it to prosper and be successful when you have no love? It is all vanity.

God cares about your family, how you treat your spouse and children”

Silence. Silence. Silence…

“Yes, we pray. But what kind of prayers does your spouse pray because of you?

When your spouse prays, is it largely to cry to God because of the hurt you bring?

Is it to plead with God to change you from the monster you’ve become?

Is it to plead for grace to deal with how difficult you are? Or is to give thanks for you?”

Silence. Silence as grave yard

“Are you really prayerful? Do you really value prayer? What is prayer?

Then why is it that many of you find it easy to come to us pastors for us to pray with you as an individual, you find it is easy to pray in public, in a Church service or Bible study, but find it so hard to pray with your spouse?

Isn’t that telling of what is going on in your marriage? Don’t you know that the more you pray with your spouse the stronger your marriage will be?

But how can you find it easy to pray with a spouse you hurt or who hurts you?”

The Pastor paused and looked at the congregation. Eyes staring at him.

“I challenge you. I challenge you to pray with your spouse and to treat your spouse well. You must save your home, your marriage, your love!

Husbands, you are the head of the home. I challenge you to stand up and go to where your wife is and pray with her as a start of a more prayerful chapter in your marriage.

Don’t do it because I asked you to but because you want to. Your choice”

One by one, the husbands present stood up.

Benson stood up too.

Benson walked to where his wife was.

The face of Benson’s wife overwhelmed with love, she looked on as her husband walked to her.

She almost stood up but he gave hand gestures at her to stay seated.

Benson reached where she sat. Their eyes met.

Benson knelt down. He stared at her then kissed her swollen left eye.

“I am sorry” he said.

“Can I pray with you?” He asked.

She got up from her seat and knelt down too.

There, on the floor as the Church service was still ongoing, husbands prayed with their wives.

Benson prayed kneeling with his wife.

They prayed for forgiveness, for thanksgiving, for love, for renewal, for peace, for direction; for their marriage.

Marriages were healed.

If You have been blessed by this message please tag or share. You might just be saving a marriage at the verge of being broken.

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Actors, directors, producers and crew turned out this week for the premiere of Zambia’s first musical feature, Damyna The Musical, at Sterkinekor in Lusaka’s Manda Hill Mall.
French Ambassador to Zambia H.E. M. Sylvain Berger was also on hand to present the film’s leading lady, Josephine Kachiza, with the Dikalo award for best actress bestowed at the Festival International du Film PanAfricain held in Cannes, France, last year.
“We should be proud that a Zambian film won this prestigious award. I am proud that Josephine Kachiza got the prize for the best actress. I would like to congratulate Peter Langmead and his crew for successfully making this movie, Damyna the Musical,” said M. Berger.
“France is always happy to keep showing support for Zambia to produce films. We have this commitment to arts and culture. We hope we can help Zambia’s culture to be promoted abroad. When we see such nice projects such as this Damyna the Musical, I think it is worth it, and that Zambia has huge potential in the field of culture that will attract tourism and recognition of the talents the country has.”
Ms Kachiza (25) from Chelstone, Lusaka, is a civilian musician with the Zambian Army ad was congratulated on her award by representatives from the Zambian Army also attended the premiere.
The first African musical film to be produced in Zambia debuted at the festival in the iconic French film hub last year, having been selected from more than 50 films from over 30 countries as the film to be screened at the week-long event’s gala dinner on Saturday evening during the 14th Edition of the festival, which pays tribute to African-American Independent Cinema.
“The quality of the films winning the Dikalo Awards reflects the excellent work done by the different professionals who have made up the jury and has helped to make our festival a point of reference within its domain. All the films which have gained awards at the festival have gone to have international recognition,” said the festival organisers.
Ms Kachiza, remained humble at the award of the Dikalo and explained that the film was a team effort.
“I’m a down-to-earth personality. I love and fear God. I love what I do and I am so determined to achieve positive and best results. I treasure relationships built on interests and good morals,” she said
“The movie would not have been possible without the dedication of the whole cast and crew, led by Dr Langmead, and Musical Director Joseph Muyunda. I would also like to especially thank co-star Mubita Ling’ope, who played Por Phiri.
Damyna The Musical director and screenwriter Peter Langmead was delighted with Ms Kachiza’s award. “Josephine is a very talented actress, singer and performer. She lights up the screen when in front of a camera and has a natural talent combined with a professional approach to her work that makes it a privilege to work with her,” he said.
The romantic drama, Damyna the Musical, weaves a story of family secrets and a witch doctor’s spells that conspire to confuse the life of an orphaned girl whose quest for love brings her traditional African village into conflict with the sophisticated world of international development agencies.
The film was shot on location in Zambia with local cast and crew directed by long-term local resident Peter Langmead and supported by renowned BBC lighting cameraman Denis Borrow (Superman, The Queen at 80, Richard Attenborough: A Life in Film, Piers Morgan On…, William & Kate: A Royal Engagement) as Director of Photography, with Music Director Joseph Muyunda and Editor Kalenga Mwansa.
“Damyna the Musical captures the essence of African society, both rural and urban, and we believe that this film will also capture the hearts of the African diaspora worldwide,” said Dr Langmead. “It resonates with Africans abroad at many levels and also connects Africans across borders within the continent, as well as breaking down barriers to present a real view of Africa to the West without the stereotypes and misconceptions that are all too often portrayed in the media.”
The lead role of Damyna is played by Josephine Kachiza with Mubita Ling’ope as Por Phiri and Tom Chiponge as the witch doctor.
“Producing a musical that reflects the contrasts of African rural and urban life was a challenge that the whole cast took to their hearts,” said Dr Langmead. “The production harnessed that energy to create a vibrant, light-hearted movie with a powerful subtext that explores the changes facing African societies as they grapple with the dualities of global influence.”
The story is based on the operatic stage work written by Dr Langmead and premiered at the Lusaka Playhouse in 2014.
Damyna the Musical combines the tale of a rural romance with the subtext of his observation and exploration of African culture, bringing together 40 years of experience of working with rural communities across the continent, viewed with the perspective of an outsider who is equally at home in the worlds of international finance and fine art as in the countryside. In doing so, he communicates the vibrancy of life, chronicles the aspirations of ordinary people and portrays a long overdue positive image of African life.
Where women have no choice or voice, Damyna the Musical reflects on philandering men who neglect and deny their children, resulting in unschooled orphans and second class citizens, often without identity. Secondary themes are belief in witch doctors, mixed race relationships, human ‘ownership’, adoption issues and responsibilities, and ill-advised donor activity. The film explores the inherent dualities of wealth and poverty, rural and urban spaces, multiculturalism and the educated and uneducated, along with concepts of racism, feminism, inequality, sexism and colonialism.
Having completed ‘Damyna the Musical’, Peter Langmead is working on the script of his second film Borderline (working title), which is also expected to be a musical, produced in Zambia, for release in early 2018.

Zodwa To Hold a No-Panty Party In Lusaka

The year 2017 gave birth to a new South African sensation called Zodwa Wabantu, a Durban-based dancer who grabbed headlines for her racy outfits and habit of not wearing panties.

Zodwa first caught Mzansi’s attention with her dancing at popular Durban lifestyle events where she was snapped breaking it down in high heels while still being able to hold on to her much loved cider bottle.

Well, guess what? The entertainer and YouTube celebrity is next month expected to join Zambian dancehall singer Karasa at his Kabwata Boy Pandemonium album launch scheduled for Hollywood City Club in Lusaka.

“Guys guys guys! This is final. We are getting ready to unleash the long awaited Pandemonium! Album. Firstly we’re releasing an afro jam tittled; “Maruma” produced by Kekero, prior to the launch; then the launch and album release comes your way,” said Karasa.

“It had taken time to workout because we needed to ensure the album is good. I’m urging all my fans and friends to come and support me , proudly a Kabwata boy. The music is good, people will surely enjoy, we have spiced up the list of supporting artistes and have also decided to add African Beauty queen Zodwa Wobantu just to add excitement to the show, as a guest appearance.”

I don’t agree with Karasa that Zodwa is really a beauty queen, but her body is super gorgeous.

Anyway, beauty lies in the hands of the beer holder, so I guess Karasa has a point.

And by the way, Karasa was ushered into music circles by his elder brother Petersen Zagaze. He is known for his hit singles “Do Me”, “Go Mama Go” and his prominent feature in Dalisoul’s “Shansha”.

His debut album was called ‘Titan Revolution’ which introduced him music army.

DID YOU KNOW?

*Namwala is an area where the Cattle Population is more than the Human Population?*

Location & Population

Namwala District is a district of Zambia, located in Southern Province. As of the 2000 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 82,810 people. Meanwhile, according to the Namwala District Council, the cattle population in the area is at 132,797.

Myths

The name Namwala is believed to have been derived from a unique stone (mwala) which allegedly fell from the skies and dropped into the Kafue River near Southern Water and Sewerage Company offices. With footprints of different kinds of animals, the stone can only be viewed by a few lucky people, when water subsides.

Language

Ila is the predominant language spoken in the area, but English remains the official language.

Geography

Namwala covers an area of approximately 10,000 square kilometers. Namwala town has a population of over 5,000 people. It lies on the southern bank of the Kafue River at 996 metres above sea level. It houses the administrative offices of Namwala District and is the principal town of the Ila people who inhabit the district. They are famous for their large herds of cattle with livestock farming, not surprisingly, their main economic activity. Other major settlement areas in the district are Kabulamwanda, Muchila, Maala, Mbeza and Chitongo.

Culture

The district is also well known for, its Shimunenga traditional ceremony. This spectacular event that takes place around September/October of every year at Maala village. The Ila people, the traditional inhabitants of Namwala District, engage mostly in cattle herding, fishing, hunting and subsistence farming. As a symbol of prestige, the traditional Ila do not routinely eat their cattle.. However, drought and disease have affected the cattle population.

The Ila are closely related in language and culture to their more numerous Tonga neighbours in Southern Province. The Ila speaking people of Zambia reside mainly in the administrative districts of Namwala, Itezhi-Tezhi and Mumbwa spread over seventeen chiefdoms.

Weather

The district is characterised by dry hot weather from September to October, warm to hot and rainy weather from November to April and gets cold and windy from May to August.
The annual range of rainfall is 800-1,100mm.

Hydrology

The main river is the Kafue and has a braided channel of the Kafue called Namwala River, which uniquely runs throughout the year.
These are the main sources of water for drinking for both humans and animals.

Population distribution

With an annual growth rate of 2.2 percent, the 2010 population census results show a figure of 101,589. The majority of the population is concentrated in major settlement areas of the district such as Namwala town, Kabulamwanda, Muchila, Maala, Mbeza, Chitongo, Kantengwa, Ichila, Baambwe, Ndema and Itapa.

The district has 14 wards of which Nakamboma has the highest population of 13,974 inhabitants followed by Namwala Central with 11,522, according to the Central Statistical 2010 population and housing census.

Health

Namwala has a government-run district hospital based in the town centre.
There is at least one clinic in each of the 14 wards.

Economy

Dominated by cattle ranching, agriculture is the mainstay of the district’s economy.
Crop production is also carried out among the 18,000 farmers, mostly small-scale. Livestock production is the main occupation of the local people with most households rearing cattle.

SUNSET Sound Production, the promoter of the show which will feature Zodwa Wabantu, says they are in the process of getting clearance from the National Arts Council for the South African entertainer as advised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and National Guidance.

Sunset Sound Production proprietor Lucky Cheelo Munakampe told The Mast today that Zodwa had not been barred from entering Zambia as widely reported on social media but that they were told to formalize her performances.

Online reports had the past few days reported that Zodwa had been barred by religious affairs minister Reverend Godfridah Sumaili allegedly because she does not wear underpants.
Later, the online reports indicated that the promoter of the shows which would feature Zodwa did not have a licence to host a foreign artiste.

However, Rev Sumaili has denied stopping the entertainer from coming into the country but only expressed concern over her performances.

And Munakampe yesterday said everything was on course to having Zodwa in the country as planned during Karasa’s album launch.

“Yesterday, we were at National Arts Council to formalize the artist’s clearance process. So we hope by Tuesday or thereabout, the clearance process would have been completed,” said Munakampe.

“We held a meeting with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the spokesperson Mr Mumba Tembo, after we heard rumors about the purported ban of Zodwa Wabantu. The ministry did clarify to us that it doesn’t handle invitations of foreign artists and that we simply needed to follow normal procedure as

I enjoyed reading your Facebook post on why you are single and your thoughts on the subject. I enjoy your shows and your great musical talent. Your thoughts certainly had lots of wisdom in them. However, you missed the big elephant in the middle of the room. The reason you are still single has nothing to do with you waiting for the right man.

You are still single because no proper decent man wants to marry you. No decent man will marry you because you go all over the place exposing half your breasts with tattoos on them. Which decent man from a decent family will ever take you to meet his parents for marriage? Before you have even arrived, someone has already sent them on WhatsApp photos showing your tattooed breasts or bare thighs.

No matter how nice and charming you try to be, that picture will remain in their minds forever and it was you who created it in your quest to gain attention and fame. Even your potential mother in law will be very uncomfortable knowing that her husband already has that picture of your tattooed breasts in his mind even as you show up smiling with her son.

You should realise that there are consequences for all your actions in life. You may get the extra attention and fame exposing your bare skin to the Zambian public but you have lost the opportunity to get a really decent man. As the Bible says, you reap what you sow.

It doesn’t matter what you say or try to do. It doesn’t even matter that you are probably a decent girl with a good heart. Zambian society is very conservative and they have judged you already. All the men coming after you are obviously only interested in you know what, but it was you who attracted them by your own choices. You should have known better. In saying this, I am not passing judgment on you but just showing you the consequences of your choices.

Your fellow talented female musicians Angela Nyirenda, Maureen Lilanda or Marsha Moyo never went around exposing their bodies the way you do yet they produce hit songs that we still enjoy up to today. Moyo won award after award, performed at the only seven star hotel in the world, was appointed by the UN to push for the Millennium Development Goals and even featured on MTV. She achieved what you will never achieve and did it all without once exposing her breasts or thighs.

Anyway, I wish you well and good luck in your search for the perfect husband. You will need it

“In 1975, the UN declared 8th March as International Women’s Day to champion the global movement for women’s rights.

The fight for women’s rights takes different shapes in different contexts. But while the day to day fight looks different for women in different countries, cultures, and careers, the bottom line is that 43 years later, women all over the world STILL have to fight for equality. Rich or poor. Black, brown or yellow. Blue collar or white collar. Entertainer or professional. Women STILL have to fight to be equal.

Today, I urge all women, and men, to uphold the fight for the right of women to be equal. This is not a fight for women only. It’s not a fight for feminists only. It is a fight for people and for mankind. For the sake of our sons and daughters, we must #PressforProgress and ensure that the next 43 years tell a triumphant story of this fight for equality.” She posted on her Facebook page in her In her International Women’s Day message.

The Zambian immigration officials have deported South African entertainer Rebeca Libram, aka Zodwa Wabantu, who was detained upon arrival at KKIA at 21:00 hours last night.

Reasons for the deportation are unknown.

Zodwa, known for her pantiless stunts that leave her male audience yearning for more, was initially to perform at Karasa’s album launch today.

But the National Arts Council told the promoter, Sunset Sound Production, that she could only attend as a guest because allowing her to perform was against “public interest and national values”.

And when she arrived last night, Zodwa was detained without reason and immigration officials disappeared from the airport without explaining to the promoter why the entertainer was being held.

“I have just confirmed with South African Airways that she was deported and left for South Africa aboard the 07:20hrs flight (today),” Sunset Sound proprietor Lucky Cheelo Munakampe has told The Mast.

Immigration authorities are yet to give a comment on the matter

SPEAKING a little candidly for the first time since his deportation in November last year, folk musician Mumba Yachi has given an insight into his situation with a posting on his Facebook page.
But it is only a little insight; the only thing to take out is that he is at home where he is and is not really longing to come back.
Mumba Yachi, who is still loud on local airwaves thanks to his song “Ifyakumwena Kubukulu”, which features Chef 187, says he is not as miserable as some people might think.
“I am a very proud man. I am not miserable as some may think sometimes. Jesus told the girls of Jerusalem to cry for themselves and their children. Because he knew he will resurrect the third day,” Mumba Yachi, who was deported to Congo DR, posted on his Facebook page.
“When you think of me, don’t see a deportee who is longing to comeback. Zambia is the country of my heart and I will carry it wherever I go. Zambia shaped me. But think of me like a proud son of Africa who is always fighting for the lost African consciousness in his songs and in his daily life because the struggle is the same everywhere in Africa.”
Some of the contents in Mumba Yachi’s post can only be understood by those who have followed him closely and understand how thinks.
“There are too many things that all of us can do to liberate ourselves forever, for the future of our children. Each one of us can work towards that. Time is so short and the ‘enemy’ is looting us without pity and shame,” he said.
“Mr [Martin] Luther is looking at you and am looking into the future.”
Earlier, Mumba Yachi had posted that that he has decided to be quiet does not imply that he is guilty as charged.
“Just because I have never given my side of story, it doesn’t mean am wrong,” he said. “I have chosen to be quiet over some matters in life because sometimes words can lose where silence can win.”
Mumba Yachi, 31, was deported to the Congo DR in November by the Zambian Immigration authorities who said his presence and conduct in Zambia was likely to be a danger to peace and good order.
“The deportation was that of a Congolese musician, Tshite Mukenge, popularly known as Mumba Yachi. Tshite Mukenge (31) was deported under a warrant signed by the Minister of Home Affairs as there were reasonable grounds to believe that his presence and conduct in Zambia were likely to be a danger to peace and good order,” Namati Nshinka, the Immigration public relations officer, said in a statement.

The video will be uploaded soon.
What was suppose to be the happiest day of Marjory and the childhood boyfriend turns into anonymous.
A mass brawl broke out at a wedding reception which was held at Reformed Church of Zambia in chipata compound lusaka.
After a feud between families became vicious when Marjory’s ex boyfriend showed up at the wedding ceremony claiming he had sex with her  almost 7 hours the previous day (Friday 16th March 2018) in a named guest house. Marjory’s family members admitted she went missing on Friday for 5 hours and did not give them a convincing for her disappearance.
The man claimed he had video evidence of him having sex with the newly wedded Majorly on Friday.
The pastor was forced to cancel the wedding after the angry man threatened to produce video evidence of him in the sexual act with the newly wedded lady.
The ex boyfriend who also claimed to be HIV Positive said he had been forced to disclose Majory’s secrete sexual activities because she accepted having sex with him despite knowing she would be getting married to another man the following day.
Majory herself has never had sex with the man she was getting married to and was claiming to be a virgin, but secretly she was busy sleeping with the man who embarrassed her at the 11th or 12th hour. It is believed her ex-boyfriend had requested her to pay him K7,500 cash if he had not to disclose but the girl had no money only promised to continue sleeping with him (having adultery with her boyfriend) even after her wedding.

The wedding was cancelled and Majory’s family was ordered to refund the man’s family (a man who was about to be her husband) every he had spent for the wedding including insalam and loboa.

This is a warning to all men, be careful with the people you are about to marry, some spend their days before the wedding sleeping with their boyfriends to the extent of impregnating them. No wonder some of the first born children are not yours.

Majory’s life is now ruined because of her unfaithfulness. Her ex boyfriend tricked her by placing a secrete camera in their room just before her colorful wedding.
